Yellow = Remain Blue = Leave
Many teens also took to Twitter and Facebook to endlessly rant about losing - having a cynical approach to the Brexit situation. Many are being negative about the country leaving the European Union, but five other European Countries are also rumored to be having a referendum of their own as polls indicate that the majority within their countries also want to exit the European Union. These countries include, France, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic and Denmark. People who are opposed to Brexit have fears that the country will soon be in turmoil, but nobody knows for sure what the benefits and what the negatives are of leaving the European Union.
On the night of the referendum before the result was announced, the currency of the pound (GBP) went to its lowest since 1985, Pro-Brexiters however are saying that this is a temporary blip and that it was expected as there was a high expectation of staying in the European Union and that the pound will start to rise again in the near future. Many however are speculating on the rise of food prices - some even saying that crisps will go up to £19 a packet (which is absurd and will not happen by the way) - and people who are saying this may not be taking into account that food prices start to rise after the UK was placed into the EU. Some are even saying that the 10BN pound a year promised will not go directly to help the NHS, however this was not promised in the first place. The money will reportedly be used to help other public services in need of the money as well as the NHS which needs the money to be maintained. Pro-Remain are also saying that immigration will not stop. Of course it will not, but since we are free from the EU's law of an open border policy without even checking the refugees entering into Europe, we can install an Australian point system in order keep immigration controlled and regulated. The migration crisis has been ongoing since September 2015 due to the EU's open border policy, which many are not happy about and may be a key reason as to why other EU countries want out of the EU so that it can have its own laws by what the citizens of these countries want.
Nicola Sturgeon has also announced that a second referendum may be possible for Scotland to gain its independence from the UK and to maybe rejoin the EU as Scotland's result in the recent EU referendum was all in favor to stay whilst England wanted out! Nothing has yet been announced of a date or whether a second referendum will go ahead for Scotland, but it may be possible in the future.
As the country remains divided through conflict - one thing is for sure! The UK public exercised its right to democratically vote and the silent majority wanted OUT of the European Union - and whether people like it or not - people will have to unite in order to ensure that Brexit will work out in the long-term.
