REVIEW: What We Think of Rihanna's "ANTI" Album [6/10]

On January 28th 2016, Number 1 Singer Rihanna released her eight studio album "ANTI" and topped the charts at no.1 worldwide! Rihanna unexpectedly released the album without any release date being announced similarly to what Beyonce did back in late 2013 when she released her album "BEYONCE". Besides that, today we are going to review Rihanna's ANTI album and share our thoughts on what we thought listening to it more than once. Listening the album once and then giving a rating we would have gave it three out of ten stars, but slowly it has grown on us so we have decided to not be too harsh and bump up the rating to six out of ten stars. Besides it being a number one album in the vast majority of countries worldwide - we did not think that it is ten out of ten stars. Even though you have catchy songs including the hit "Work ft. Drake" and others such as "Consideration", "Kiss It Better" and a cover of Tame Impala's "Same Ol' Mistakes" and "Desperado" which would all probably do fairly good as singles - These are the only songs that we find catchy and are the ones we find ourselves listening on repeat - whereas the rest of the album is quite forgettable and not as good that you would want to listen to them again ten times in the same day - but that is our opinion. A significant amount of the fans have glorified the album on social media and have stated that it is Rihanna's best album yet. Although some fans say this, fans like ourselves would have to disagree and say that this is not Rihanna's best album. With that said we do not find the album as catchy as "Talk That Talk" or "Unapologetic" or even "Loud" where you can get into ALL the songs and have ALL of the songs on repeat. Also these albums have massive hits such as "Diamonds", "S&M", "You Da One" and so on which have proven to be pop classics - but with this album we are not really feeling it. Out of this album we only listen to five of the songs out of thirteen available to listen to on the standard version. But then again everybody has different opinions especially when it comes to music and with that said comment below on what you think of Rihanna's ANTI and what star rating out of ten you would give it! Do you agree that this is not Rihanna's best album or do you think that it is? Let us know!
